Through a shared-instructional model, students from our 10 partner schools will divide their day between their home school and the Bronx STEAM Center, where they will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals in a workplace-simulated environment.
To be clear, the Bronx STEAM Center is an enhancement to the high school experience for scholars. All scholars have the ability to:
- Earn an Advanced Regents High School Diploma
- Earn up to 14 elective credits on their HS transcript
- Optional 1 Credit Internship Course
In 11th grade, scholars spend their mornings at their home schools and are then transported to The Bronx STEAM Center for STEAM classes from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
In 12th grade, scholars begin their day at The Bronx STEAM Center at 8:30 AM and are subsequently transported to their home schools for afternoon classes.
